500-Hour Comprehensive
Pilates Teacher Training
Authentic Core Pilates is proud to partner with Pilates Education Institute (PEI™) to offer a comprehensive 500-hour Pilates Teacher Training Program in Eau Claire, WI.
This program is approved by the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP)—the only nationally accredited credential in the Pilates industry. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Pilates Certification Teacher Exam and earn full professional accreditation.
This 10-month comprehensive program begins in March 2026 and is delivered over seven weekends. It is thoughtfully designed to provide a high level of education in both the Classical Pilates repertoire and Contemporary Pilates, with a focus on training teachers to work with each client’s individual needs.
Students gain a strong foundation in anatomy, biomechanics, and principles of human movement. We go beyond teaching exercises—we teach the why behind each movement, including contraindications and appropriate modifications, ensuring safe, intelligent, and effective instruction for every client.

FAQs
Is this program NPCP-accredited?
Yes.
Authentic Core Pilates partners with the Pilates Education Institute (PEI™), which is a National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) approved curriculum. Upon completion of our 500-hour program, you will be fully eligible to sit for the National Pilates Certification Exam.
Do I need to be an "expert" at Pilates to join?
You don't need to be able to do every advanced exercise perfectly, but we recommend at least 10 group classes, and 3 privates, ideally a year of consistent Pilates practice. This experience ensures you have a foundational "body of knowledge" before you begin learning how to teach others.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We require a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot and order your training materials. The remaining tuition can be paid in monthly installments over the 10-month program.

What is the difference between "Classical" and "Contemporary" Pilates?
Classical Pilates follows the original sequence and philosophy developed by Joseph Pilates.
Contemporary Pilates integrates modern biomechanics and physical therapy principles.
Our program teaches both, giving you a versatile toolkit to work with everyone from elite athletes to clients with injuries.
I’m already a fitness professional. Is there a "bridge" program?
Our 500-hour program is comprehensive, ensuring that all graduates meet the high standards of the NPCP. However, your existing knowledge of anatomy and human movement will give you a significant advantage in the curriculum.
What if I have to miss a weekend session?
We understand life happens. While 100% attendance is encouraged, we allow for make-up hours through private mentorship sessions with the Lead Instructor (additional fees may apply).
What additional costs should I expect?
Your tuition includes all training manuals and digital resources.
Students are responsible for the cost of their personal practice sessions, the required reading materials, liability insurance, and the final NPCP exam fee if they choose to sit for the national accreditation exam.
